Main research interests: i)
characterization of organic matter in soils and sediments, ii)
evolution of organic matter in soils and sediments in relation to climate changes (sinks or sources of C?), iii)
biogeochemistry of trace elements, radionuclides and organic pollutants: utilization of ombrotrophic bogs as archives of their atmospheric depositions during centuries (natural vs. anthropogenic sources), and iv)
sustainable utilization of waste biomass in agriculture.
