Curriculum

The Prof. Fabio Piccinelli specializes in Inorganic Chemistry. His main research interest is focused on the synthesis, structural and spectroscopic characterization of coordination compounds of luminescent lanthanide ions with potential application in the field of optical sensing and imaging. Recently, he has started a line of research based on the synthesis and structural characterization of gallium(III)-based coordination compounds for nuclear imaging.
