Curriculum

Le principali linee di ricercate sviluppate dalla Prof.ssa Elodie Vandelle riguardano lo studio dei meccanismi alla base della virulenza dei batteri fitopatogeni appartenenti al complesso Pseudomonas syringae, in particolare i determinanti molecolari che regolano l’aggressività di ceppi patogeni e la comunicazione tra batterio e pianta ospite come fattore cruciale nell’instaurarsi della malattia. Inoltre, vengono sviluppati progetti a scopo applicativo, in collaborazione con aziende del settore, mirati all’identificazione di strategie green alternative all’uso di fitofarmaci per la protezione delle piante.
