Aim of the corse is to descrive the main components of neurological systems and the the related pathologies.
In particular it will be described the central nervous system (brain, spine and peripheral nerves) and related pathologies (Stroke, dementia, epilepsy, Parkinson, neuropathy). Part of the course is dedicated to the main methods in neurophysiology as the EEG, EMG, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, the magnetic resonance and the coregistration EEG –fMRI and the high density EEG. One of the aims is related to the pratical and theorical problems in biosignal analysis.
