Learning outcomes

Module: Fisica
-------
This course aims at giving the basic knowledge of physics, of the physical instrumentations and of the empiric studies. In particular: methodology of mechanics of bodies in the form given by Newton, with indications on atoms and molecules; the physical basis and the law of thermodynamics and energetic exchanges; the concepts and laws of electromagnetism and its applications to technology

Module: Fisica (laboratorio)
-------
The laboratory is part of the course. It aims at giving the knowledge and methods of empirical studies. In particular for: motion, fluids, energy transmission, the laws of electricity, the magnetic forces, the data analysis and treatment.

Syllabus

Module: Fisica
-------
Velocity, acceleration, force. Newton law. Motion. Gravitation.
Fluids and their laws. Calorimetry, temperatura, gas laws. The principles of thermodynamics.
Charges and electric forces. POtential, electric field. Electric current. Electric circuits. Magnetic field. Magnetic forces. Atoms and molecules. Electromagnetic waves. Variable current circuits. The laws of optics. Refraction, reflection, interference and diffraction. Geometric oprics

Module: Fisica (laboratorio)
-------

Assessment methods and criteria

Module: Fisica
-------
The examination is through a written and oral session on the treated arguments.

Module: Fisica (laboratorio)
-------
The examination is part of the course. To be admitted, the student has to complete the laboratory projects.
