The Italian Congress of Biotechnology (Biotech 2026) will take place from June 24 to 26, 2026, at the University of Verona, bringing together the national scientific community engaged in all areas of biotechnology.
The event will showcase the latest advances in biotechnological research and foster dialogue between science, innovation, and industry. Scientific sessions will span the entire spectrum of biotechnology — industrial, medical, environmental, food, computational, and plant — with a special focus on emerging biotechnologies driving the green and digital transitions.
Biotech 2026 will provide a unique platform for researchers, students, and professionals to exchange ideas, share results, and build new collaborations between academia and industry. The program will feature invited talks, selected oral presentations, poster sessions, thematic round tables, and awards for young researchers.
With the support of the Italian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SIB) and the Interuniversity Consortium for Biotechnology (CIB), Biotech 2026 will be a landmark event to share knowledge, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and highlight the contribution of Italian biotechnology to global challenges in sustainability and innovation.
