Biochemistry and Industrial Biotechnology (BIB)

The research interests at the Biochemistry and Industrial Biotechnology (BIB) laboratory, include among others: 1. The identification and characterization of enzymes for lignocellulosic biomass valorization; 2. The isolation and characterization of microorganisms for industrial biotechnology applications; 3. The development of methods to facilitate the screening of enzyme libraries generated via direct evolution.
