Professor Annalisa Polverari is a plant pathologist, specialized in the study of plants-pathogen interactions. In particular, his most recent research activity concerns:

i) biotechnological applications grapevine resistance to the agent of downy mildew, Plasmopara viticola;
ii) study of plant-bacterium communication in the Actinidia-Pseudomonas syringae interaction model, by biochemical and molecular approaches;
iii) identification of innovative substances and methods with low environmental impact for crop protection.
