School of Enzyme Discovery and Engineering for Biotechnological Applications

This School aim is to present the state-of-art and discuss advancements in the field of enzyme discovery and engineering with special focus on how studies that allowed significant achievements in biotechnological applications.

The School, organized by the SIB BIOTECHNOLOGY GROUP, is addressed to Ph.D. students, postdocs and researchers younger than 35 having basic knowledge of biochemistry and enzymology. SIB funds 10 fellowships for early-career SIB members studying for a PhD, or working as a postdoctoral scientist in Universities or Research Institutes. Fellowships will cover the  registration fee for ten participants. In addition, the winners will present their work with a short talk of 10 min during the school.

The number of participants is limited to 35 persons on a first-come, first-served basis.  

The deadline for registration is the 8^th of November 2019.
