At the core of Renuvait’s technology is Nature Co-Design, an approach that integrates microand nanostructuring, formulation development, and the design of functional platforms. The goal is not simply to use molecules, active ingredients, or materials, but to rethink their structure, organization, and behavior in order to generate new properties, enhance functional performance, and make solutions truly transferable to industrial processes.

Renuvait works along two complementary directions: on one side, it enhances active
ingredients and functional compounds by improving their stability, dispersion, protection, and controlled delivery; on the other, it develops materials and surfaces with new functional properties, greater durability, and higher application value.

Its solutions are developed according to a Design for Production, DfP, approach, reducing the gap between applied research and manufacturing. Each platform is designed from the outset to be scalable, industrially applicable, and compatible with the operational needs of companies.

Renuvait’s expertise applies to cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, food & beverage, agribusiness, advanced materials, bio-based coatings, and surface protection. Within these fields, the company has developed a portfolio of technological platforms for enhancing active ingredients, natural compounds, biomaterials, and functional systems: AstaCore, PeaRelief, KeratinX, and DermaLight for cosmetics and personal care; VitaCore, EnerFlow, and LipoControl for health, pharmaceuticals, and nutraceuticals; NutriFlow and BioShield Systems for agro and natural systems; AromaFlow and ColorCore for food & beverage; FiberCore and OPLON® for materials, surfaces, and industrial applications.

Among its most advanced proprietary developments is OPLON®, a bio-based technology for the protection of porous surfaces and wood. OPLON® was developed as a zero-VOC impregnant, free from Volatile Organic Compounds, designed to promote deep penetration and functional protection of porous materials. The technology is the subject of a patent filing by Renuvait S.r.l. and is produced by T-ECO S.r.l., representing a concrete example of a sustainable, scalable, and industrially transferable solution.

Renuvait is part of MagBIO, a European Horizon Europe – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, Staff Exchanges project dedicated to the development of advanced magnetotactic technologies. The project integrates magnetotactic bacteria, biomimetic particles, magnetosomes, magnetic
targeting, diagnostics, and innovative functional systems, strengthening Renuvait’s position within an international scientific network active in bio-nanotechnology, functional materials, smart biomanufacturing, and deep tech innovation.

Renuvait’s scientific background is also supported by previous R&D activities, patent-related experience, and collaborations in the fields of nanoparticles, biomimetic nanoassemblies, nanofluid formulations, functional materials, and advanced bio-nanotechnology systems. This expertise strengthens the company’s ability to transform frontier research into scalable technologies and industrially relevant applications.

Alongside the development of proprietary platforms, Renuvait offers companies codevelopment, applied research, advanced formulation, technology transfer, pilot-scale
production, and licensing services. Its goal is to support companies and partners in the development of concrete, distinctive, and high-value technological solutions capable of
improving product performance, generating new functionalities, and opening new market opportunities.
